Yeshivat Drisha is located on Kibbutz Kfar Etzion, in the beautiful region of Gush Etzion, near Alon Shvut. There are direct buses from the Kibbutz to Jerusalem and Efrat. The Gush Etzion mall is also accessible by bus.
Kibbutz Kfar Etzion was founded in 1927 and re-established in 1967. The Kibbutz grows cherries, flowers, olives, almonds, and grapes. Kfar Etzion is currently home to approximately 1200 individuals.
Shopping
Kfar Etzion is home to a bustling shopping area frequented by people from all over Gush Etzion. Shops include: clothing stores, Naot outlet, fruit and vegetable market, ice cream shop, pizza shop, “The Chamama” plant nursery and dairy restaurant, electronics store, home appliances store, bakery, photo printing shop, health food store, pet shop, and more! This shopping center is within a 10 minute walk from the Yeshiva.
Security
The kibbutz is gated and is enclosed by a fence which is monitored 24/7. There is also private security who patrols nightly around the area of the Yeshiva apartments. The students are part of a kibbutz security whatsapp group and so receive all security updates and instructions immediately.
